You get stiff after a round. Your backswing is shorter than it used to be, your follow-through isn't smooth, and you're not driving it as far. Maybe you're taking ibuprofen before you tee off, or playing less than you want to. You know you're compensating somewhere. We find where, and give your body the motion your swing needs.
Low back pain during or after a round, the most common golf complaint by far. It usually shows up when the low back is doing the rotating the hips should be doing.
Swing speed that's dropped over the years, even when your technique hasn't changed.
A backswing that stops short, a turn that feels blocked, and a follow-through that doesn't finish smoothly.
A pinch in the front of the hip when you load into your trail side or rotate through your lead side.
Shoulder pain in the backswing or follow-through, plus golfer's elbow and tennis elbow.

Your golf swing is a rotation problem, and your hips are supposed to drive it. When the hips don't rotate well and the pelvis stays compressed, your body finds rotation somewhere else, usually the low back. That's a low back dominant swing. It works for a while, then you lose power, get stiff, and start hurting.

Golf drills and swing tips are good advice when your body has the motion to do them. The problem is that many golfers don't. The technique isn't wrong. Your body just can't get into the positions yet. What I do goes a layer deeper: unlock the hip, pelvis and mid back motion your swing needs, so the coaching you're already getting finally works.
We look at how your hips rotate, how your pelvis moves, how your mid back turns, and how you load and shift weight from side to side. Then we connect it to your swing: where you're losing motion, where you're compensating, and what that's costing you. You leave knowing what's limiting you and a clear plan to fix it.
A collegiate golfer who relied on anti-inflammatories just to play stopped taking them completely and got back to full play.
A 70-year-old golfer who'd been chasing more power for years gained it in 3 sessions.
A golfer with chronic back pain learned to stop relying on his low back. Now we're working on the performance side of his game.
Getting out of pain is the first step, not the finish line. Once your body is moving well, we build rotational power, mobility and capacity, so you can play more, hit it farther and stop worrying about the next round.
Weekend golfers, competitive and collegiate players, and golfers in their 60s and 70s who want to keep playing and keep their distance. If golf is part of your life and your body is getting in the way, this is for you.
Yes, by unlocking the hip, pelvis and mid back motion your swing depends on. I don't change your swing. I give your body the ability to do what your coach is asking.
Often. When the hips and mid back rotate well and the low back stops doing the hips' job, you can generate more speed with less effort.
Usually because it's doing rotation the hips should be doing. Restoring hip rotation takes the pressure off your back.
Usually not. We adjust how much and how hard you play while we build what's missing.
No. One of my golfers gained power at 70, after years of trying.
